Indrazneste Sa Iubesti (Romanian Edition): Katie McGarry: : Books

This book is not yet featured on Listopia. If you like Nora Roberts ‘s books then you will enjoy this one. It is pretty much her standard fare with three beautiful and talented female friends about to meet the loves of their lives, one at a time of course, in each of the three titles of a trilogy.

I quite enjoyed this one but the two lead characters were actually not very nice and probably deserved each other. I do not feel compelled to seek out the next book in the trilogy although I would probably be happy to read it on a beach some day If you like Nora Roberts ‘s books then you will enjoy this one.

I do not feel compelled to seek out the next book in the trilogy although I would probably be happy to read it on a beach some day if I happened to come across it. Not the best of her books by far.

As all 8 comments. This is a good story and introduction of the characters for the trilogy. I just didn’t like Margo, the main character in the story. She was just too superficial and self absorbed.

I enjoyed the relationship between the friends, which was the high point of the story. It’s worth it to read this book just to get to their stories. And maybe Margo won’t annoy others as she did me.

I loved this series and honestly point to this towards those who love Roberts who want to know where she gets up her male and female avatars in her later works. Also most of her plots in inndrazneste later trilogies are based on similar set-ups with the males and females too.

That said, I always get a kick out of the Dream trilogy. For those who are looking for a really good contemporary romance where the male and female main characters are hot together, you cannot ask for much more. Margo acts like a jerk for a good majority of this book and so does Josh. I think at one point I may have wished that Margo would lose her looks since that seems to be all she has going for her seriously though her looks are commented on a lot.

The writing is typical Nora Roberts which can be a comfort if you are in the mood for it. I think what throws me a lot in these books are sometimes conversations or wording will make me recall one of the later In Death books and I feel all confused. The setting of the great Templeton house was interesting, I felt like the Templetons were modeled off of the Hilton family in a way.

I am always laughing though at stories modeled on a family with a huge amount of money and they are hotel magnets. The flow was off with this one though. And also most of the book was Margo and Josh being terrible or aggravating to the other one and you just get over that whole thing after about 10 minutes of reading it. Roberts also does a great job of laying the groundwork for other characters in the next two books. I also like how Roberts in her later two books does a great job of calling back moments that we read and giving you another perspective.

Though Daring to Dream is the first in the trilogy, I have to say that my favorite out of the three books is the next book in the series, Holding the Dream. After ten years of modeling success, Margo Sullivan found herself in the middle of a career ending scandal and drug charges that she had no connection or knowledge of.

The type of person Margo was, she went home to Monterey California. The Templeton house had always been her home, her mum was the housekeeper, Laura Templeton and Kate Powell her best friends now with the world talking about her the only place to run and hide was the Templeton house. The big brother figure of the family, Josh Temp After ten years of modeling success, Margo Sullivan found herself in the middle of a career ending scandal and drug charges that she had no connection or knowledge of.

This situation was no different. Now that she was home, convincing her to see him as more than just a brother, more than just a friend might take more than the ten years he had already waited for her. Maybe if she figured out what she wanted to do with her life, he could find a way to show her that he belonged in it too. Book 1 of the Dream Trilogy. As with a lot of series, book 1 is difficult, it spends so much time with the set up and putting all the characters out there, that some things seem to be lost.

It was a good story for a beginning to the Dream Trilogy, but not a great story. I am only hoping that the second Holding the Dream and the third Finding the Dream goes better.

I especially liked the strong friendship between the three women and how they and their parents form an unusual, but close iuhesti. I had some problems with Margo and Josh. Oubesti are likeable protagonists – but iubfsti most of the time.

Of course that they have major flaws makes them good, more complex characters, but I couldn’t get Margo and her decisions.

She’s a nice, loyal person, but sometimes I just wanted to shake her till she’d see sense. Arguing is normal, yes, but they did it all the time and were really mean to each other.

It seems to work for them, but it didn’t work for me as a reader. It took a long time till I could believe the book that they are in love, before that I couldn’t see more than friendship and lust between them. They said that they loved each other, but I didn’t really feel it till later in the book. Because of that, their story didn’t move me as much as it could have.

Add to this that I thought the last ‘conflict’ between them was unnecessary and a stupid plot point Of course not everything about the book is bad. It’s a solid story and Roberts writes well as usual, but I just expected more.

Let’s see how I like book 2. An introduction to the family of Templeton House, with the focus on Margo, the daughter of a maid who always wanted more from her life, and Josh Templeton, the heir of the family. I did not particularly like Margo and couldn’t really relate to her and so I wasn’t all that invested in her story. Both she and Josh have their flaws and make some bad decisions, but they seem to work as a couple and it was nice seeing them get their happy-ever-after.

I am curious about Laura and Kate and will probably An introduction to the family of Templeton House, with the focus on Margo, the daughter of a maid who always wanted more iubesgi her life, and Josh Templeton, the heir of the family.

I am curious iubfsti Laura and Kate and will probably listen to their books sometime in the future, starting with Kate’s story next in Holding the Dream.

Even though Margo is not the sort of main character I like, NR has, as usual created another pleasant book.
